# Check a section against decisions

`POST https://api.markdrop.in/api/v1/meeting-memory/check`

Asks Claude Haiku 5.5 whether a page's section contradicts, leaves out or agrees with recorded decisions (`facts`: ids from Related meeting facts, at most a few). Returns a `verdict` (`contradicts`, `omits` or `consistent`) and a short `note` for each. For editors of the page. The same section and decisions are answered from a cache for 30 days (`cached`). Counts towards Meetings AI; when a limit is reached or the workspace's AI features are off, `reason` and `message` say why instead of results.

## Request body

`application/json`, required.

- `page` (string, required): Up to 200 characters.
- `heading` (string): Up to 300 characters.
- `section` (string, required): Up to 8,000 characters.
- `facts` (array of string, required): 1–6 items.

## Responses

- `200`: OK.
- `401`: No token, or the token is revoked or mistyped.
- `422`: The request didn't validate. `detail` lists each problem, with where it is (`loc`) and why (`msg`).
- `429`: Too many requests from your IP address. Wait the seconds in `Retry-After`.
