# Delete a meeting

`DELETE https://api.markdrop.in/api/v1/meetings/{meeting_id}`

The person who imported it, or a workspace admin or owner (any meeting, even one restricted from them): the meeting page and its transcript go to the Trash for 30 days and the stored transcript is deleted at once.

- **Authentication:** API token required: `Authorization: Bearer mdk_…`.
- **Rate limit:** 60 per minute per IP address.
- **Guide:** [Meetings](https://docs.markdrop.in/workspaces/meetings)
