# List notifications

`GET https://api.markdrop.in/api/v1/notifications`

Your notifications from the last 90 days, newest first: someone mentioned you, asked for your sign-off or shared a page with you. One about a page you can no longer open has no title or link.

- **Authentication:** API token required: `Authorization: Bearer mdk_…`.
- **Rate limit:** 120 per minute per IP address.
- **MCP tool:** `list_notifications` ([tools](https://docs.markdrop.in/ai/tools))
- **Guide:** [Mentions and notifications](https://docs.markdrop.in/pages/mentions-and-notifications)

## Query parameters

- `unread_only` (boolean): Only unread ones. Default `false`.
- `limit` (integer): How many to return, up to 100. Default `30`.
- `before` (string): The `next_before` of the previous page.

## Responses

- `200`: OK.
- `401`: No token, or the token is revoked or mistyped.
- `422`: The request didn't validate. `detail` lists each problem, with where it is (`loc`) and why (`msg`).
