# Resolve an embed link

`GET https://api.markdrop.in/api/v1/web-embeds/resolve`

The embeddable address and aspect ratio for a link from a supported site. Worked out from the link alone: nothing is fetched.

- **Authentication:** No token needed.
- **Rate limit:** 120 per minute per IP address.

## Query parameters

- `url` (string): The link to embed. Default `""`.

## Responses

- `200`: OK.
- `422`: Not a link from a supported site.
- `429`: Too many requests from your IP address. Wait the seconds in `Retry-After`.
