# My Slack notifications

`PATCH https://api.markdrop.in/api/v1/slack/me/prefs`

Which direct messages Markdrop sends you in Slack: `mention`, `signoff_requested`, `shared` and `access_request` (each on unless turned off). Send only the ones you change. Bell and email notifications aren't affected.

- **Authentication:** API token required: `Authorization: Bearer mdk_…`.
- **Rate limit:** 60 per minute per IP address.
- **Guide:** [Slack](https://docs.markdrop.in/integrations/slack)

## Request body

`application/json`, required.

- `mention` (boolean)
- `signoff_requested` (boolean)
- `shared` (boolean)
- `access_request` (boolean)

## Responses

- `200`: OK.
- `401`: No token, or the token is revoked or mistyped.
- `422`: The request didn't validate. `detail` lists each problem, with where it is (`loc`) and why (`msg`).
- `429`: Too many requests from your IP address. Wait the seconds in `Retry-After`.
