# Preview the action-items messages

`GET https://api.markdrop.in/api/v1/slack/action-items/preview`

Admins and owners: from the newest meeting you can open that has action items with a person, who would get a direct message with their own items after it (`people`: name, whether they're a member, how many items, and how Markdrop would find them in Slack: `linked`, `email`, `name` or `none`), and what the fullest message would read (`message`: its items with due dates, `open_link` for a member, `organizer` to ask for everyone else). Nothing is sent and Slack isn't asked. `meeting` is null when no meeting has such items yet.

- **Authentication:** API token required: `Authorization: Bearer mdk_…`.
- **Rate limit:** 30 per minute per IP address.

## Query parameters

- `workspace_id` (string, required): The workspace's id. Matches `^[0-9a-f]{24}$`.

## Responses

- `200`: OK.
- `401`: No token, or the token is revoked or mistyped.
- `422`: The request didn't validate. `detail` lists each problem, with where it is (`loc`) and why (`msg`).
- `429`: Too many requests from your IP address. Wait the seconds in `Retry-After`.
