# Preview an invitation

`GET https://api.markdrop.in/api/v1/invites/{token}`

What an invitation link is for: the workspace, the role and whether it is still open. Answers `200` for invitations already accepted or withdrawn too, saying so.

- **Authentication:** Token optional: send `Authorization: Bearer mdk_…` to act as your account.
- **Rate limit:** 60 per minute per IP address.

## Path parameters

- `token` (string, required): The token from the invitation link.

## Responses

- `200`: OK.
  - `workspace_name` (string)
  - `role` ("owner" | "admin" | "member" | "viewer")
  - `email` (string)
  - `invited_by_name` (string | null)
  - `status` ("pending" | "accepted" | "declined" | "revoked" | "expired")
  - `expires_at` (string (date-time)): ISO 8601, for example `2026-11-30T12:00:00Z`.
  - `signed_in_as` (string | null)
  - `email_matches` (boolean): Default `false`.
  - `already_member` (boolean): Default `false`.
  - `logo_url` (string | null)
  - `accent_color` (string | null)
  - `logo_well` ("light" | "dark" | "checker" | null)
- `422`: The request didn't validate. `detail` lists each problem, with where it is (`loc`) and why (`msg`).
- `429`: Too many requests from your IP address. Wait the seconds in `Retry-After`.
