Search everything, with typos, and ask AI

⌘K now searches everything you can open: titles, headings, text and file contents, across your files, workspaces, shares, Guides and Trash. It forgives typos, and Ask AI answers a question from your documents with sources.

  • Everything you can open. Your own pages, documents and files (private ones too), every workspace you're in, what's shared with you, folders, workspaces, Guides pages, and your Trash at the bottom with Restore.
  • Fuzzy and instant. Typos, partial words and any word order: onbording plyabook finds Onboarding Playbook. Results update as you type, with the matching words highlighted in the title and a snippet.
  • Inside the text and files. Headings and page text, plus the text of HTML pages, PDFs and text files. A match in a heading opens at that section.
  • Ask AI ✦. Ask a question, or type one, and Claude Haiku 5.5 answers from your items, citing each source. Only text you can open is sent; encrypted items never are.
  • A full results page. See all results opens /search with filters for kind, workspace, owner and date.
  • For AI apps. The MCP search tool uses the new search, and the new ask_documents tool asks a question (67 tools now).
