Markdrop Guides: a changelog for your guide

Write what shipped as changelog entries in Markdrop Guides: your guide gets a changelog page, a page per release, RSS and JSON feeds, and entries in search and Ask AI.

  • A preview in your guide's saved design before you publish
  • RSS and JSON feeds on your guide's own address
  • Web app
  • API
  • Changelog is a new section of every guide, next to Pages. Write an entry with a title, a one-line summary and details in the same editor as your pages, and pick its date, kind (New, Improved or Fixed) and area.
  • Products and versions: name the products you ship and say which one an entry changed and the version it needs. Readers filter by product and see only what's new since their version.
  • Media and links: an image or a video from the guide's files, highlights, a Try it button and the pages the change touched.
  • Coming next: list what you're working on above the releases.
  • Readers get /changelog with a Changelog tab, a page per entry, RSS, JSON Feed and Markdown feeds, a link preview per entry, and entries in the guide's search and Ask AI, all in the guide's own theme.
  • Entries publish with the guide: new, edited and removed entries show on Publish and in What changed, and go through reviews when a guide requires them.
  • Already have release notes? A page called Changelog, Release notes or What's new with a dated heading per release turns into entries in one click, including after a GitBook import.
