Pages: write with blocks, embed your files, nest pages inside pages

A page is a Markdrop document you write with blocks, like in Notion: colours, columns, templates, sub-pages, a cover and an icon, and your PDFs, videos, images and HTML pages embedded live. Each reader sees an embedded file only if they can open it.

  • Web app
  • MCP server
  • API
  • New page in a workspace or folder, Create › Page, or Open in block editor on a document you already have. Pick a template: release notes, a customer how-to, a QA test plan, a product spec, meeting notes, a runbook, or blank.
  • Always editable. If you can edit a page, it opens ready to type: no Edit or Done. It saves as you type, holds the page for you from your first key or click, and lets go when you leave or after three idle minutes. Everyone else sees the same page, read only, and who's editing.
  • Type / for a menu grouped by kind, with a preview of each block: headings, to-dos, toggles and toggle headings, callouts with an emoji and colour, tables, code, math, Mermaid diagrams, a table of contents, bookmarks, YouTube, Loom and Figma embeds, dates and people. Markdown shortcuts and Notion's keyboard shortcuts work as you type.
  • Colours and layout: text and background colours, underline, coloured blocks, columns (drag a block beside another), nesting with Tab, and buttons that add blocks when clicked.
  • Blocks: select several to move, colour, duplicate or delete them together, drag them with a drop line, and copy a link to any block. Resize and align images, set table column widths and header rows, colour cells, and caption code.
  • Paste from Google Docs, Notion, Word, web pages and GitHub, keeping headings, lists, tables, links and formatting.
  • Covers: twelve covers in four styles, or your own image, repositioned by dragging.
  • Embed and mention your Markdrop files and documents. A reader who can't open one sees a locked placeholder without its title.
  • Sub-pages follow their parent's access until you set their own, and show in breadcrumbs, the page tree and your workspace's sidebar.
  • Paste or drop images: they belong to the page and only its readers see them.
  • Pages keep a copy in your browser until the server has it.
  • A page is still Markdown underneath, so VS Code and AI apps read and write it. New MCP tools create pages, add blocks while you're editing, and embed files.
