Gemini's next steps keep their deadlines in Team

A suggested next step from Gemini like "Sam Lee will update the pricing page by Friday" now reaches Team as a target due that Friday, so it shows under Due this week. Before, these came through with no date.

  • Web app
  • API
  • Deadlines in the step's own words. "by Friday", "by EOD", "by Nov 12", "tomorrow", "next week", "early next week", "end of the month", and Hinglish like "kal tak" or "Monday tak", worked out from the meeting's day.
  • The dated one wins. When the same commitment is noted with and without a date, Team shows one line with the date, linked to both places it came from.
  • Earlier meetings too. Next steps Team already recorded get their date in the nightly tidy-up, with no AI involved.
  • Action items posted to Slack read the same phrases.
