Ask Markdrop: one question across everything you can open

A box at the top of your home asks across your meetings, documents, pages, files and Guides at once. Answers cite their sources (meeting moments included), follow-ups stay in a conversation, and suggested questions catch you up on the week or list your open action items.

  • Web app
  • MCP server
  • API
  • One box, everything you can open: meetings and their transcripts, documents, pages, files and Guides. Every source is a number you can tap; meeting chips open the transcript at the moment it was said.
  • Follow-ups in the same conversation ("and the annual discount?"). New question starts over; the conversation is in the address, so reload and Back keep your place.
  • Suggested questions: Catch me up on this week, My open action items (every unchecked task that @mentions you, meeting action items included; no AI needed when there are none) and one about your latest meeting.
  • Recent questions under the box, private to you, kept 90 days.
  • Strict access: only items you can open now are read; every cited source is checked again before you see it and when you reopen a conversation, and an answer whose sources you lost is hidden. Restricted meetings, encrypted items and workspaces with AI off are never read.
  • Built for phones: the first thing on the home, a 16px field and 44px targets.
  • Uses the AI search budget. MCP ask_documents now asks the same way, with thread_id for follow-ups and intent (catch_up, my_actions). API: POST /api/v1/ask and /api/v1/ask/threads.
