Meetings import themselves: Connect Google Meet

Connect Google Meet once and every call that Google transcribes or takes notes for becomes a meeting page by itself, about 15 minutes after it ends. A small script in your own Google account does it, read-only, with a token that only imports meetings into one workspace. Manual import stays, side by side.

  • Web app
  • MCP server
  • API
  • Connect Google Meet on the Meetings page, next to Import meeting: Markdrop writes a Google Apps Script with its own token filled in. Paste it at script.google.com, run setup once, and it checks your Drive every 15 minutes.
  • Reads only meeting Docs: Meet transcripts and Gemini's notes in your Drive, created in the last 48 hours. Read-only: it never edits, moves or deletes anything. Its token works for this one inbox and nothing else, and isn't listed with your API tokens.
  • One meeting per call: the notes and the transcript, arriving minutes apart, become one page; a Doc you already imported by hand isn't imported again.
  • Connected shows when it last imported and how many meetings it brought in; Disconnect stops it at once. Meetings it imported are marked Auto.
  • Past meetings too: choose the last 7, 30 or 90 days when you connect. They come in oldest first, dated by the call, and quietly: nobody is notified about a meeting that's long over. Run backfill in the script to go further back.
  • Restrict to attendees for every automatic import, chosen when you connect.
  • For AI apps: meetings_connection says whether automatic import is on, and list_meetings filters by source (manual, auto, mcp) and since. import_meeting doesn't duplicate a call that's already there (76 MCP tools now).
  • Docs: Meetings is its own section now: import manually, import automatically, ask, and privacy and cost.
