CLI 0.6.0: pages, exports, trash, access requests and search from the terminal

markdrop page creates, reads, edits and restores pages, with images from your disk; markdrop export saves them as files; and link set, trash, access and search bring the rest of your account to the terminal. The local MCP server gets two page tools.

CLI0.6.0
  • markdrop page: new (blank, from a template, or from a Markdown file or standard input, in a workspace and folder or inside another page, with its own slug), get (the Markdown with its front matter, or --info), update (with --base-rev so you never overwrite someone's newer save), append, props (icon, cover, layout, lock, export, and a folder's typed properties), templates, image add (an image file as inline Markdown, the cover or the icon), and versions / version / restore for the page's history.
  • markdrop link set changes a page's, document's or file's link; the old link keeps redirecting. --check tells you whether a slug is free.
  • markdrop export saves a page as Markdown, one HTML file or a zip with its images, with --subpages for its sub-pages. It never overwrites a file without --force.
  • markdrop trash lists, restores and deletes: rm moves an item to the trash, rm --permanent deletes it forever after asking.
  • markdrop access asks for edit access, lists the requests on your documents, and approves or declines them, with the same emails as the app.
  • markdrop search finds the pages, documents, files, folders and workspaces you can open.
  • Every new command takes --json and prints one JSON object.
  • Local MCP server: upload_page_image puts an image file from your computer into a page, and export_page saves a page as a file. The local server now has 13 tools.
