Edit pages on your workspace's own domain, and Request edit access

Anyone who may edit a page can now edit it right on the workspace's own domain, like docs.acme.com, instead of going back to markdrop.in. Readers who can't edit a page can ask for edit access from its ⋯ menu.

  • Web app
  • Edit on your domain. Signed in on the workspace's domain, a member, someone the page is shared with as Can edit, the owner or anyone with the edit link opens the page straight into the editor: text and title, images, sub-pages, page properties, AI writing tools and Version history, with Saving…/Saved and who's on the page.
  • Deleting a page, sharing and who can open it, its link, and workspace settings stay on markdrop.in: on the domain the owner's ⋯ menu opens the same page there (Manage access on markdrop.in ↗, Change link on markdrop.in ↗, Delete on markdrop.in ↗).
  • The sign-in on your domain still works only there and only for that workspace's pages, and every page still runs its normal access check.
  • Request edit access. Someone who can read a page but not edit it asks from the page's ⋯ menu, with an optional note, on markdrop.in or on the domain. The page's owner gets an email with Approve and Decline (the workspace's admins, when the page has no owner who can be reached) and an entry under Access requests. Approving lets them edit that page only; they get an email either way.
