Markdrop Guides: embed files that render

Put an interactive HTML demo, a zipped site, a PDF or a video from Markdrop in a guide page as a live block that updates when you replace the file.

  • Markdrop file block in the editor (/markdrop): pick from your files or the guide's workspace, paste a link, or upload.
  • Interactive HTML and zipped sites run in the page in a locked sandbox on Markdrop's file domain; PDFs get page controls and zoom; videos play in the docs player with captions and chapters.
  • Replace the file on Markdrop and every guide shows the new one, no republish. Pin a version to keep one.
  • Only files anyone with the link can open show to readers; anything else is a notice that names nothing.
  • Text version for search, Ask AI, llms.txt and screen readers: your summary, a PDF's text, a video's transcript.
  • Insights › Embedded files: views, use, where viewers stop a video, the PDF page readers reach.
