A meeting's attendees are who joined, not everyone invited

A meeting imported from Gemini's notes no longer counts everyone on the calendar invite as attendees ("27 people" for a call 12 joined), and its Attendees no longer shows a paragraph of text. Attendees are the people who joined, listed on the page with members as @mentions; the invite list is kept apart as Invited.

  • Web app
  • API
  • MCP server
  • Who joined. Attendees come from a Google Meet transcript's Attendees line and the people who spoke; without a transcript, nobody is counted as an attendee and the meeting bar says how many were invited instead.
  • Invited. Gemini's "Invited" list is shown in the meeting's Details as Invited with a count, never as attendees. People invited to a restricted meeting who are members still get access, as before.
  • A list, not a paragraph. Only a list of names is read as attendees: a summary paragraph after the label, a heading, or names run together that can't be told apart are left out. The page lists the attendees under Attendees (members as @mentions, nobody notified), and the Attendees property has their names.
  • Earlier meetings are corrected in the background from what they kept (the speakers of their transcript). A page is written again only where Markdrop's own text is still there; who can open a meeting doesn't change. A Doc sent again by the Google Meet script follows the same rules.
