Mentions in meeting notes don't notify anyone

The @mentions Markdrop writes into a meeting (an action item's owner, for example) stay links but no longer send a bell, email, phone notification or Slack message, however the meeting came in. Action items still show on each person's home.

  • Every way in is quiet: Import meeting, a Drive link, the Google Meet script, import_meeting and import_meetings_bulk from an AI app, Import past meetings, the other half of a call added later, and the summary written again or regenerated.
  • Your own mentions still notify. Edit a meeting page and @mention someone, and they're told as on any page.
  • Slack meeting posts don't change. New meetings are still posted to your meetings channel; a meeting held more than a day before it was imported isn't posted on its own.
  • Import past meetings: the switch is now Don't post to Slack (on by default), since nobody is notified either way.
