Add a sub-page offers your workspace's templates everywhere

Adding a sub-page to a page in a workspace now offers that workspace's templates wherever you start it: the page's menu, Pages inside, the sidebar and the workspace's own domain. A page in a folder with a default template starts its sub-pages from it too.

  • Web app
  • MCP server
  • API
  • The workspace's templates for every sub-page. Add a sub-page reads the templates from the page you're adding it to, so the sidebar's + and Add a sub-page, Pages inside and the page's ⋯ menu all offer its workspace's templates (to members of that workspace), yours and the built-in ones. Before, some of them showed only the built-in ones.
  • On your workspace's own domain the gallery shows the workspace's templates and the built-in ones, and the sub-page can be made from either. Personal templates and managing templates stay on markdrop.in.
  • A folder's default template is chosen for a sub-page of a page in that folder, like for New page there. Pick Blank or another template if you like.
  • AI apps: list_page_templates takes parent to list what a sub-page of that page can start from, with its folder's default as folder_default.
  • API: GET /api/v1/page-templates/all takes parent (a page's slug) and reads the workspace and folder from it.
