Ask has its own page, live suggestions, and a name that says what it asks

**Ask** in the sidebar opens the assistant as its own page: your conversations on the left, the conversation in the middle, and chips for **Everything**, each of your workspaces and **My files**. Its name follows what it answers from: **Ask Acme** in a workspace, **Ask my files** for your own files, **Ask this page** on a document or file. In a workspace, the suggestions come from what's happening now, such as **Sourcing: What did we decide this week?**, the same for everyone in it.

  • The Ask page. Ask in the sidebar (and in the ⌘ K palette) opens it, on the workspace you're in. Your conversations are on the left (under History on a phone or an upright tablet); select one to continue it. ⌘ J still opens Ask beside what you're reading, and Open full page in its header brings the same conversation here.
  • A name for each scope. Ask Acme answers from that workspace, Ask my files from your own items outside any workspace, Ask this page from the item you're on (✦ Ask on documents, pages and files), Ask from everything you can open. The panel has a chip for each of your workspaces and My files.
  • Live suggestions. In a workspace, the suggestions are written from the last 7 days: the topics, decisions and action items of its meetings and the titles and headings of pages that changed. Only what every member can open is used (never a restricted meeting or a private page), so everyone sees the same list, with Updated 2 h ago. They change a few minutes after things do, and at least daily. Select one and it's asked at once. Your own are next to them: your action items, your latest meeting, what you said in the last one of a series.
  • On Home, the Ask bar has a scope chip, and the chips under it are your team's live questions.
  • MCP and API. New ask_suggestions tool and GET /api/v1/ask/suggestions; ask_documents and POST /api/v1/ask take the scope mine.
