Mermaid diagrams show in the page editor and the Guides editor

A Mermaid block in a page or a guide now shows its diagram while you edit, just as readers see it. Click it to edit the code, with a live preview below; Esc shows the diagram again.

  • Web app
  • The diagram, not the code. In the page editor and the Markdrop Guides editor, a mermaid code block draws its diagram, the same one readers get.
  • Click to edit. Click the diagram, or press Enter on it, to edit its code. A preview under the code follows as you type. Press Esc, choose Done or click elsewhere to see the diagram again.
  • Errors stay readable. If the code has a mistake, the block shows the error and the code.
  • People who can only read the page, including on a locked page, always see the diagram.
  • In a page, add one with / › Mermaid diagram; in a guide, set a code block's language to mermaid.
