Pages: type @ to mention someone, in tables too

Type @ in a page and a list of the people in its workspace opens at your cursor, with their picture, name and email address. Type to narrow it, then pick someone. /person opens the same list, which now always shows your teammates, and both work in table cells.

  • Web app
  • API
  • @ opens the list at the start of a line or after a space or punctuation, never in the middle of a word (so email addresses don't open it) and never in code, Mermaid diagrams or equations. Part of a name or an email address finds someone, and so do letters in order.
  • Keys: ↑ and ↓ move, Enter or Tab picks, Esc closes the list and keeps what you typed, and deleting the @ closes it. Clicking works too.
  • Fixed: Mention a person (/person) could open with nobody in it, on a workspace's own domain and whenever the people couldn't be loaded. It now lists the workspace's members there too (names and pictures only on the domain), and a page in no workspace says why there's nobody to mention.
  • Tables: @ and the / menu work in table cells. A cell's / menu offers what fits in a line: Mention a person, Mention an item, Date and Emoji.
  • API: GET /api/v1/documents/{slug}/mentionable lists who you can mention on a page you can edit.

A mention is the same :person[Name]{id="…"} either way, so notifications, exports and AI apps see no difference. See Mentions and notifications.
