Page exports look like the page, and a page stays a page

Exported HTML and PDFs no longer draw a page's title over its cover, exports always download or print where you are, and a page can no longer get stuck as a Markdown document.

  • Web app
  • MCP server
  • Exports look like the page. In the HTML file and the PDF, the cover runs across the top, the icon sits on the cover's bottom edge and the title is below them, never on the cover.
  • Exports stay where you are. The file downloads in the tab you're in (or the print dialog opens there for a PDF), and if Markdrop refuses an export, the dialog says why. An AI app's export link that has expired opens a short page saying so, instead of an error.
  • A page stays a page. Open in the classic editor is gone from a page's menus. Edit as Markdown shows the page's source only for now, with Edit with blocks on screen to go back; a reload always opens blocks again.
  • Switch back to the page editor. A page that was switched to the classic editor shows its owner and editors a banner and a More actions item to make it a page again, on markdrop.in and on your workspace's own domain.
