Pages: one top bar, and a sidebar you can hide

A page now has a single bar at the top with everything in it: the app's header above it is gone. Hide the sidebar with ⌘ \ and peek at it from the left edge, and long menus scroll instead of running off the screen.

  • Web app
  • One bar. On the left: the sidebar button, the logo (your workspace's logo on its own domain) and the breadcrumbs. On the right: who's viewing, Saving… or Saved, Share, ⋯, Create and your avatar, or Sign in. It stays in place as you scroll, and on a phone the breadcrumbs fold to "… / Title". The theme switch moved to your avatar menu (to ⋯ when you're signed out).
  • Hide the sidebar with the sidebar button or ⌘ \ (Ctrl \ on Windows and Linux). Your browser remembers it, with no flash when the next page opens. While it's hidden, point at the left edge of the window to peek at it.
  • On smaller screens the sidebar is a drawer that slides over the page from the same button.
  • Long menus scroll. A menu is never taller than the room it has: a page's long ⋯ menu scrolls inside instead of running off the bottom of the screen.
