The app on phones and tablets

My files, workspaces, folders, settings, sharing and search fit every phone and tablet: nothing scrolls sideways, every button is finger-sized, a tap anywhere on a row opens it, and menus open as sheets on phones.

  • Nothing scrolls sideways on any screen, from a small Android phone to an iPad Pro. On a narrow phone Create shows just its plus, so the top bar fits.
  • Finger-sized controls: buttons, menu items, tabs and fields are at least 44 points on a touch screen, and text is never smaller than 12 points. Text boxes use 16-point text, so iPhones don't zoom in when you type.
  • Tap anywhere on a row or card in My files, Shared with me, Recent, a workspace or a folder's table to open it. Its own buttons still work.
  • Menus open as sheets from the bottom of a phone's screen, over a dimmed page.
  • Boards on touch screens: tap a card to open the page, or press and hold to drag it to another column. A long press on a row or card no longer opens the phone's link preview.
  • A folder's views bar fades at the edge when more views are off screen.
