Workspaces, folders and custom domains, rebuilt

NewWorkspacesWeb appAPIMCP serverCLICLI 0.5.0

Share whole folders, keep one access level per document at every address, and run your workspace on your own domain more safely.

Workspaces, folders and custom domains were rebuilt on one access rule: a document has one access level at every address it has, on markdrop.in and on your workspace's domain alike.

  • Share a folder with a single link. People see only the items they can already open.
  • Renamed addresses send readers to the new one, and old addresses are never handed to someone else.
  • Custom domains are re-checked every day. A domain whose DNS no longer points at Markdrop stops serving after three days of failed checks.
  • Editors and workspace members can replace a file from the viewer.
  • AI apps can list workspaces and folders, file documents, create folders and move items, and the CLI can upload straight into a folder.

Existing workspace links keep working.

  • Folder share links
  • One access level per document
  • Daily domain checks
